The Mountain Learning Center - About the Mountain Learning Center

The Mountain Learning Center has been serving the relational needs of families, couples, and individuals since 1982.

The MLC is located in June Lake, California, beneath the awe-inspiring Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It is a California, not-for-profit, tax-exempt Corporation, governed by a Board of Directors. Names of the Directors and all financial records are available by request, as we consider these documents as public information.


	In the context of an alpine, mountainous retreat environment (7600 feet in elevation), Christ-centered and biblically relevant principles of relationships with God, self, and others are embraced and developed through the vehicle of counseling from a spiritual formation perspective. Since 1993, ministry couples in personal and professional crisis have sought out the clergy care services available to them at the MLC.

The MLC is a inter-denominational ministry.
Our ministry guest clientele includes pastors and missionaries from most of the major denominational churches and mission boards (Presbyterian, Baptist, etc.), as well as those from independent evangelical churches and mission boards (Bible, charismatic, non-charismatic, Pentecostal). Being humans involved in serving the Lord, the issues of clergy growth and health are somewhat similar regardless of doctrinal differences within the Body of Christ.
